The future of energy is green. What are the challenges ahead as the world transitions from fossil fuels to renewable energy? Volkswagen’s CEO and Namibia’s president share their take on all this and more.

Volkswagen CEO on the Future of EV’s

 Volkswagen CEO Herbert Diess warned the shift away from Russian energy isn’t happening fast enough to shield the carmaker from a sudden stop in natural-gas deliveries. “It’s not so easy to change fast,” he said. 

Namibia President on Inequality

H.E. Hage Geingob, President of the Republic of Namibia stressed that the African continent is in need of reducing poverty and inequality through good management of natural and human resources, saying that Africa was left without assistance and is in need of the support of the international community. “Now our aim is to unite our people,” he said. “We have to be inclusive in governance and therefore include everybody, tribe, race, to run Namibia.”
